Madalyn's 5th Birthday-October 2, 2010

It is extremely hard to believe that you are 5 years old. It feels like just yesterday you were a tiny baby learning to crawl, walk and talk... Now you are such a big girl with so many accomplishments. Your learning to read and write. You are an AWESOME big sister. You enjoy soccer and gymnastics.

This year you wanted a Butterfly Themed birthday Party. We celebrated with friends and family on September 18, 2010. Everyone enjoyed a inflatable water slide, pottery painting and swimming.

On October 1st we went with Emily, Kasey, and McKenna to get a pedicure and dinner at Chick-fil-a.

On October 2nd, we woke up, opened presents and got ready for soccer. After we had lunch at Double Dave's-your choice and you went to spend the night with Gammy and Papa.

Along with the beginning of school many exciting things were happening n our house.

As we prepared for the arrival of Baby Luke, we also cheered for Madalyn as she played soccer, celebrated Madalyn's 5th birthday a bit early, had a pre-term labor scare, just to name a few...

Happy 3rd Birthday, Sweet Cole

It is so hard to believe that three years ago today I was holding a perfect, 9lb. 6 oz baby boy! That night I had no idea what to expect or what was to come. Being a mommy of 2 and having a baby boys. So let me tell you, What a blessing you have been!!! You are full of sweetness and have a heart of gold.

It warms my heart to see how great of a brother you are. You and Madalyn are 2 peas in a pod!!! One of my favorite things to see is when you get defensive over her. You'll run to us or at the person and say "You leave my sisty alone!!!"

It warms my heart to see what a wonderful big brother you are to Luke. You truly love him. Tonight you had him giggling in his car seat.... What joy it brings me and your dad...

Some things that are pretty cool for you right now:

-You are halfway potty trained!!! You do great going pee-pee but number 2 is a whole other story...

-You are taking swim lessons at The Fleet and you are doing great

-You love school and your teachers, Ms. Kerry & Ms. Norma. We have truly been blessed.

-You love to sing and dance... A true performer!!!

It's amazing that 3 years ago today I met my precious Cole. How wonderful the past 3 years have been and how you have truly amazed me!!! Mommy , Daddy, Sisty, & Luke love you to pieces!!! Happy 3rd Birthday Cole Michael!!!
